Qualified and Certified First Aiders is not a regulatory or governing body.
The principles are simple.
When an inividual has taken a first aid course. Whether it is online, three day First Aid at Work, Canine First Aid. Indeed, any form of first aid qualification including FPOS, FREC and those related to Community First Responders and other volunteer work, and they qualify and receive a certificate, they can register their achievement in this register.
Every single application is checked and verified.
No application is guaranteed to be recorded in the register.
However, certificates submitted that have been awarded by a recognised awarding body are faster to verify than some unregulated qualifications.
They will be registered here on when they have been verified.
Before we verify any certificate, we must receive a clear copy.
In most cases, certificates are verified with 48 to 72 hours and registered, however, where we are awaiting a call back, email or written response from the training company or awarding body, it may take much longer.
Members who have successfully registered and recorded will be permitted to use the logo that can be seen here, a smaller verson is supplied for use on websites and other marketing material.
We work in conjunction with AoFAS – The Association of First Aid Services and share information with them.
